Michelle Macdonald is a lawyer with over 12 years experience predominantly in criminal law. She appears regularly in the Supreme, District, Local and Children’s Courts.

Before being called to the Bar, Michelle worked in private practice at a leading criminal law firm and as a senior solicitor at Legal Aid NSW on the Indictable and High Risk Offender teams. Prior to that, she was a Tipstaff to his Honour Justice M Craig QC of the Land and Environment Court.

Michelle maintains a mostly criminal practice but is interested in all areas of law, including administrative, family, public law and quasi-criminal proceedings.
