Isaac Morrison is an experienced advocate who specialises in criminal and public law. He has a particular interest in police powers, human rights and the way the law mediates between state authority and individual freedoms.
Isaac began his legal career as Tipstaff to His Honour Justice Ian Harrison at the Supreme Court of NSW in 2016. He worked as a Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth DPP then as a solicitor at Legal Aid NSW. Before being called to the bar in 2026, Isaac was the Solicitor Advocate at Legal Aid Port Macquarie where he regularly appeared in jury trials, District Court sentences, appeals, Children’s Court matters and coronial inquests throughout New South Wales. He obtained his Specialist Accreditation in Criminal Law in 2023.
