Neal Funnell appears in all courts, specialising in criminal law, regulatory prosecutions and commissions of enquiry and inquests.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Neal worked as a solicitor for close to a decade at the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT, Legal Aid NSW and the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency.

In 2006 he completed an internship at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
